Economics/management education in India(including MBA) shamelessly aims at creating clones of American pattern, without the slightest regard to our country's requirements, environment, way of life and living conditions. No wonder we are being taken for a ride by American MNCs. Every field of education in India needs dramatic reforms and improvement-from nursery education of our future generation upto doctorates. As Manmohan Singh is the Prime Minister, he should DO something about it and then say "we have done this". The Prime Minister only calling for desirable action is meaningless.
