PATNA: Former Bihar Chief Minister and RJD chief Lalu Prasad Yadav second daughter will be donating a kidney to her ailing father, according to the report.
A close family member on Thursday reported to media. He said the kidneys of Rohini Acharya and Lalu Prasad Yadav have matched. So now she will donate kidney for her father.
However, the date and place of the kidney transplant are not yet clear. Lalu has been hospitalised several times in Delhi and Ranchi for treatment earlier. “Yes, that’s true. I am destiny’s child and so proud to give my kidney to papa,” NDTV quoted Rohini as saying.
RJD chief Lalu has been suffering from many diseases for a long time. He also has diseases like diabetes and high blood pressure.
Lalu returned from Singapore last month. He has been advised to undergo a kidney transplant.
His daughter Rohini Acharya lives in Singapore. Lalu is currently in Delhi and many of his family members are present with him.
Lalu Prasad Yadav had fallen at his house in Patna in the month of July, due to which he suffered a lot.
Lalu Yadav, about 75 years old, has been less politically active in recent times. However, it is not yet known when he will get kidney transplant done.
