This decision follows the approval of the Bihar State School Teacher (Appointment, Transfer, Disciplinary Action) Service Conditions Rules 2023 in a recent cabinet meeting. With this new decision, lakhs of teachers will be reinstated as state employees.
The move has been widely appreciated as it will not only help in addressing the shortage of teachers in Bihar but also provide job security to teachers who were previously employed on a contract basis.
Earlier, Tejashwi Yadav’s office gave information about the reinstatement of teachers.
