Patna – The Tourism Department of Bihar has unveiled an exciting plan to kick off the new year with a touch of adventure for the people of Bihar. In an effort to enhance tourism experiences, the department has introduced helicopter tour services, offering residents a novel way to explore various tourist destinations within Bihar.
The inauguration of this initiative took place in Gaya, with Tourism Department Secretary Abhay Kumar Singh, Industry Minister Sameer Mahaseth, and Agriculture Minister Kumar Sarvjit officiating the launch. Not only will this service provide helicopter tours of Bihar’s scenic spots, but it will also allow people to book helicopters for personal events and occasions.
The helicopter services will primarily focus on three key points: providing an aerial view of religious places in Gaya, Bodh Gaya, and Rajgir, conducting aerial tours of the tourist centers along the Buddha Circuit, including Bodhgaya, Rajgir, Sarnath, and Kushinagar. The cost for a helicopter visit to Gaya, Bodhgaya, and Rajgir is set at Rs 4,999, while an aerial tour of the Buddhist circuit will cost Rs 9,999.
