NEW DELHI: The CBI has summoned Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia and Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) for questioning in connection with the alleged corruption case related to the controversial excise policy of Delhi.
On Sunday, Manish Sisodia, while giving information about this summon, said on Twitter, “14 hours CBI raid at my house, nothing came out. Searched my bank locker, nothing came out in it. They did not find anything in my village. Now They have called me to CBI Headquarters tomorrow at 11 am. I will go and give full cooperation. Satyamev Jayate.”
The CBI has questioned Indo Spirits owner Sameer Mahendru, Buddy Retail Ltd director Amit Arora and India Ahead News managing director M Gautam in connection with the probe into alleged irregularities in the implementation of Delhi’s controversial excise policy.
The CBI has arrested Aam Aadmi Party leader Vijay Nair and a Hyderabad-based businessman Abhishek Boinpally in this case.
