Deputy CM Tejashwi participates in World AIDS Day awareness campaign, to voices disapproval of stigma attached to HIV

Patna: On World AIDS Day, an awareness march was organized by the Health Department in Patna today. Due to which people gathered in Eco Park. The program has inaugurated by Deputy Chief Minister and Health Minister Tejashwi Yadav.

Deputy Chief Minister Tejashwi Yadav addressed the function on Thursday and strongly disapproved of the stigma that has cometo be associated with HIV/AIDS.

On World AIDS Day, awareness campaign is being conducted in the entire Bihar including the capital Patna. An awareness rally was organized in Patna in which Deputy CM cum Health Minister Tejashwi Yadav and health department officials also participated. Tejashwi Yadav flagged off the awareness rally.

On this occasion, Deputy CM Tejashwi Yadav said that today awareness is being organized so that there is awareness about this disease and common people can also get information about it without any hesitation. There is no need to be ashamed or afraid of this disease. Arrangements have been made by the Health Department for investigation at many centers where anyone can go and get the test done. And told the general public that there is a need to hate AIDS victims.

The 33-year old former cricketer had reached the venue, a public park, on foo, wearing a tracksuit and sneakers in a gesture aimed at gelling with the young crowed. The teach savvy RJD leader also posted pictures of himself at the function on Twitter.
