GAYA: Tragic Incident in Bihar: Woman Commits Suicide After Allegedly Killing Her Three Children In a heart-wrenching incident in Dumariya block of Gaya district in Bihar, a woman named Manati Devi reportedly killed her three children and then committed suicide. The incident took place in Panchhanda village of Narayanpur panchayat of Magra police station area, and is said to have been triggered by domestic discord.
According to reports, the family members of the deceased woman have accused her husband, Chandan Bharti, of domestic harassment. The police have arrested Bharti and are investigating the matter further, with the FSL team collecting samples at the scene of the tragedy.
Gaya KSP (City) Himanshu Garg said, “The bodies of the woman and her children were found from their own house. The family members of the woman have accused husband Chandan Bharti of domestic harassment, they say that the woman took this step after being disturbed by this. The woman’s husband has been arrested. The FSL team has also taken samples in this matter and the matter will be investigated.
According to preliminary information, the deceased Manti Devi allegedly killed her 6 and 4 year old girls and two year old boy earlier. After that he committed suicide.
Manti Devi was a resident of a mud house in the village and her husband was a laborer. The bodies of the woman and her children were found in their own house by the authorities. The incident has sent shockwaves through the community and highlights the need for more support for victims of domestic violence.
