New Delhi: The Election Commission has made a significant announcement regarding the assembly elections in five states, setting the stage for a crucial democratic process.
The voting process will kick off in Mizoram on November 7, marking the beginning of this electoral journey. Chhattisgarh, on the other hand, will witness a two-phase voting process, with elections slated for November 7 and 17.
Madhya Pradesh and Rajasthan, however, will experience a single-phase election, with Madhya Pradesh going to the polls on November 17 and Rajasthan following suit on November 23.
Lastly, the state of Telangana will exercise its voting rights on November 30. According to the Election Commission’s announcement, the results for all five states will be unveiled on December 3, eagerly awaited by the nation.
These elections will see the participation of Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, Rajasthan, Telangana, and Mizoram, with the entire electoral process set to conclude by December 5.
Chief Election Commissioner Rajiv Kumar shared that a total of 16 crore voters will participate in these elections across the five states, including 7.8 crore women voters and 8.2 crore male voters.
