Motihari– A comprehensive three-day medical camp has been launched at GD Goenka Public School in the city, with a ceremonial lamp-lighting inauguration by the school’s chairman, Amit Kumar, Principal Vinod Kumar Bhatia, and Director Preeti Gupta.
Esteemed physicians from the city, Dr. Saurabh Gupta and Dr. Arun Kumar, are leading the medical camp, conducting thorough health examinations for all school children. On the inaugural day, a total of 120 students underwent medical evaluations, focusing on various ailments stemming from the digestive system, respiratory system, skin issues, and infections. Students were also provided with invaluable guidance on preventive measures.
Dr. Saurabh Gupta emphasized the significance of regular comprehensive checkups for children, highlighting the positive impact it has on their overall development. He underscored that maintaining good health not only ensures their well-being but also contributes to their holistic growth. Dr. Arun Kumar commended the school for organizing this vital initiative, emphasizing the importance of physical and mental well-being for students who juggle academic pursuits and extracurricular activities.
Addressing the attendees, Principal Vinod Kumar Bhatia conveyed that the camp aims to conduct health assessments for a total of 375 students. He further highlighted the school’s ongoing commitment to nurturing student well-being by implementing diverse activities that alleviate mental stress, ultimately fostering a healthy student body.
