PATNA: Baba Bageshwar Sarkar and Dhirendra Shastri, who prominent spiritual figures, are set to hold a discourse in Bihar from May 13, and devotees are eagerly awaiting the event. However, politics has heated up in the state regarding their arrival, with the RJD and BJP coming face to face.

The controversy began with a statement made by Tej Pratap Yadav, the elder son of Lalu Yadav, who warned the Bageshwar Dham government that it would not be good if there was a Hindu-Muslim conflict. BJP leader Giriraj Singh responded to this by alleging that the government in Bihar has become pro-Muslim, and that groups like the PFI are flourishing in the state.

The discourse is scheduled to be held in Naubatpur, which is located about 25 km from Patna. It is expected that around 3 lakh devotees will attend the event, which will run from May 13 to May 17. Prior to the event, a Kalash Shobha Yatra will be taken out on May 12, in which 5100 women will carry urns from Gandhi Maidan to Digha Ghat.

Dhirendra Shastri himself announced that he will be coming to Bihar from May 13, and expressed his excitement for the event. The discourse is expected to spread the message of brotherhood among all religions, and promote peace and harmony.

However, the political controversy surrounding the event is not likely to subside anytime soon. It remains to be seen how the situation will unfold, and whether the discourse will be able to bring people together or further divide them along religious lines.
