I’m not in a hurry to become CM, Our ultimate goal is to eliminate BJP by 2024: Tejashwi Yadav

PATNA: Deputy CM Tejashwi Yadav has given a big statement on Wednesday amid the tussle between RJD and JDU regarding the post of Chief Minister in Bihar. Tejashwi Yadav said that he is currently working on his first target. His first target is to oust the BJP from power at the Center in 2024. He also said that he is in no hurry to become CM.

In fact, after Upendra Kushwaha left JDU, party president Lalan Singh had given a statement that no decision has been taken to make Tejashwi Yadav the CM candidate and it will be decided only on the occasion of 2025 assembly elections. It was believed in political circles that Tejashwi Yadav was very angry with this statement of Lalan Singh and due to this he reached late in the Kisan Sammelan.

Tejashwi Yadav further said that no one should have any confusion. The government is running under the leadership of Nitish Kumar. Yadav said, the JDU president did not do anything wrong. Till then I will gain more experience and then serve the people of Bihar. He said that the first focus is 2024 and we cannot allow communal forces to come to power due to mutual interest.

On Wednesday, Deputy Chief Minister Tejashwi Yadav had reached Jehanabad to inaugurate the guest house built at Patal Ganga in Wanavar. Along with seeing the possibilities of development of tourism in the famous Vanavar mountain located in Makhdumpur block, also inspected the ropeway under construction. A large number of office bearers and leaders including MP Chandeshwar Chandravanshi, MLA Satish Das, Suday Yadav, Legislative Councilor Nagendra alias Rinku Yadav DM Richie Pandey were present on the occasion.
