Jio becomes the first operator to launch 5G services in Pathankot

Pathankot: Reliance Jio today announced the launch of its True 5G services in Pathankot. With this, Reliance Jio has become the first operator to launch 5G services in 15 key cities of the state, including Amritsar, Patiala, Jalandhar, Bathinda, Ludhiana and Chandigarh tricity, where Jio’s 5G services were launched earlier. Jio users in Pathankot will be invited to the Jio Welcome Offer, to experience Unlimited Data at up to 1 Gbps+ speeds, at no additional cost, starting today. Jio’s True-5G network covers all important localities and areas including educational and coaching institutes, malls & markets, residential areas, hospitals, government buildings, other commercial establishments like hotels and restaurants, roads and highways etc. in Pathankot. Jio is the only operator which is rolling out its 5G services at a rapid pace across Punjab to provide transformational benefits of technology to Jio users.

Commenting on the launch, a Jio Spokesperson said, ”We are happy to announce the launch of Jio True 5G services in Pathankot. Jio is the operator of choice for users in Punjab and the most loved technology brand, and this launch is a testament to Jio’s continued commitment to the people of Punjab, especially the youth. We would soon expand our 5G services to the whole of Punjab”.

Jio plans to launch its True 5G services in every town, taluka of India by the end of December 2023.
