Mayawati Removes All Spokespersons of Her Party Until Media Cell Restructuring

LUCKNOW: In a recent move, Mayawati, the chief of the Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP), has removed all the authorized spokespersons of her party. She has stated that until the party restructures its media cell, there will be no official spokesperson of the party.

The BSP supremo has announced that the reorganization of the media cell of the party is proposed by the BSP itself. Therefore, until the new media cell is formed, if anyone from the party, including Dharamveer Chaudhary, expresses their opinion in the media, it will be considered their personal viewpoint, and not an official statement of the party.

It is important to note that Dharamvir Chaudhary has been speaking on behalf of the BSP in the past. However, Mayawati has made it clear that there is no official spokesperson of the party at present.

The move to remove all the spokespersons of the party comes ahead of the crucial Uttar Pradesh Assembly elections, which are scheduled to be held in 2022. Mayawati has always been known for her strict approach towards maintaining discipline in her party. This decision is seen as a step in that direction.

Mayawati’s move has sparked debates and discussions in political circles, with some praising her for her bold decision, while others criticizing her for not providing clarity on who will be authorized to speak on behalf of the party in the interim period.

Mayawati’s decision to remove all spokespersons of her party until the media cell restructuring is completed has created a buzz in political circles. It remains to be seen how the BSP will navigate the media landscape in the interim period before the new media cell is formed.
