Patna: In a recent statement, Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar has dispelled rumors and speculations surrounding a potential split within the Janata Dal United (JDU) party. Addressing journalists on Monday, he responded to claims made by BJP MP Sushil Kumar Modi, who had suggested that the JDU might face internal divisions.

With a smile, Nitish Kumar quipped, “Why don’t you congratulate him?” His response hinted at a light-hearted dismissal of the rumors and emphasized the unity within the party. Kumar firmly ruled out any likelihood of a party split, emphasizing that these speculations held no merit.
Nitish Kumar has played a pivotal role in uniting major opposition parties across the country. His party, once part of the BJP-led National Democratic Alliance (NDA), is now a part of the alliance of opposition parties known as ‘India.’
Journalists also inquired about Sushil Modi’s claim that Nitish Kumar aspired to become a Governor. Nitish Kumar promptly denied this allegation, further solidifying his commitment to serving the state of Bihar as its Chief Minister.
