Treatment is underway in Sadar Hospital, the driver is also seriously injured
Motihari. Notorious miscreants made a fatal attack on the district’s youth RJD’s chief general secretary and Mukhiya husband Santosh Kumar alias Sunil Singh on Friday night. The incident took place near Jahingra temple in Pipra police station area when the general secretary was coming home from a Tilak ceremony late at night. In the attack, along with the rural mukhiya’s husband Sunil Singh, his driver was also seriously injured.
The injured was admitted to Sadar Hospital. Where both are undergoing treatment.
Actually, Sunil Singh is the husband of Mamta Singh, the Mukhiya of Sagar Panchayat. Singh along with his driver and sarpanch husband were returning home from Scorpio in late at night after the Tilak ceremony of Raju Singh’s son. Injured General Secretary Sunil said that four vehicles were parked near the High School of Pipra Bazar. Suddenly 8 to 10 notorious miscreants came near my car. Till the time Singh understood something, everyone attacked him. He said that the attack took place in the enmity of Panchayat elections.
Let me tell you that unknown miscreants have executed the incident at gunpoint and also fired.
During the attack, the windshield of their vehicle was shattered, Sunil Singh and his driver suffered serious head injuries. The family of the chief’s husband along with the police of Pipra police station admitted him to the Sadar Hospital. He alleged that he was constantly being threatened with death by the family members of the former chief.
Police has registered an FIR regarding the incident. According to Pipra police, further action is being taken.
