“PM Modi hails BJP’s sweeping win, urges opposition to embrace positivity ahead of Winter Session”

New Delhi: In a significant prelude to the winter session of Parliament, the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has received a substantial mandate, securing a majority in three states. Prime Minister Narendra Modi expressed his delight over the triumph, stating, “The political heat is escalating rapidly. The results from four states, announced just yesterday, are incredibly encouraging. This is a testament to those dedicated to the welfare of the common people and the bright future of the country.”

PM Modi reiterated the significance of the victory, dedicating it to the future of the nation. He emphasized that the opposition should draw lessons from the defeat rather than dwelling on anger. “Instead of venting anger over its defeat in the assembly elections, the opposition should leave behind negativity and move ahead with positivity in this session of Parliament,” urged the Prime Minister.

The Prime Minister said, “I am requesting all the honorable MPs to come with maximum preparation. Whatever bill is placed in the House, there should be a thorough discussion on it, the best suggestions should come. But there is no discussion at all.” So the country misses those things.”

PM Modi said, “If I say on the basis of the current election results, then this is a golden opportunity for my friends sitting in the opposition. Instead of planning to vent out the anger of the defeat in this session, learn from this defeat and carry on in the last 9 years. If we leave the trend of negativity and move ahead with positivity in this session, the way the country looks towards them will change.”

Opposition Strategizes Ahead of Winter Session

Leaders of opposition parties convened on Monday ahead of the winter session to deliberate on strategies for addressing various issues and challenging the government in both houses of Parliament. The meeting, hosted in the chamber of Congress President and Leader of Opposition Mallikarjun Kharge in Parliament House, saw the participation of key figures including Adhir Ranjan Choudhary, Jairam Ramesh, Derek O’Brien, Sudeep Bandopadhyay, TR Baalu, Raghav Chadha, and ST Hasan.

Anticipated Political Battles in Parliament

With the election results of four states surfacing just a day before the parliamentary session, the opposition faces disappointment as the BJP secures victories in Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, and Rajasthan, while the Congress claims success in Telangana. The Lok Sabha may witness the presentation of the Ethics Committee’s report on the first day of the session, recommending the expulsion of Trinamool Congress MP Mahua Moitra on charges of ‘asking questions after taking a bribe.’ As the winter session kicks off, political battles on various fronts are expected to unfold within the hallowed halls of Parliament.
