PM Modi to distribute 71,000 appointment letters at Rozgar Mela

NEW DELHI: Prime Minister Narendra Modi will oversee the distribution of approximately 71,000 appointment letters to new recruits during a Rozgar Mela on Tuesday. The event will take place across 45 locations nationwide, facilitating recruitments in both central government departments and state governments/union territories.

According to PIB, The newly appointed personnel will fill a variety of positions, including gramin dak sevaks, inspector of posts, commercial-cum-ticket clerk, junior clerk-cum-typist, junior accounts clerk, track maintainer, assistant section officer, lower division clerk, sub divisional officer, tax assistants, assistant enforcement officer, inspectors, nursing officers, assistant security officers, fireman, assistant accounts officer, assistant audit officer, divisional accountant, auditor, constable, head constable, assistant commandant, principal, trained graduate teacher, assistant registrar, and assistant professor, among others.

This Rozgar Mela aligns with the prime minister’s commitment to prioritize employment generation, offering significant opportunities for youth empowerment and engagement in national development.

Alongside the appointment letters, the newly recruited personnel will have the opportunity to undergo training via Karmayogi Prarambh, an online orientation course tailored for all new appointees in various government departments.

It is expected that this Rozgar Mela will serve as a catalyst for further employment generation, fostering a more empowered and productive youth workforce dedicated to the country’s progress.
