LUCKNOW: PM Modi has reached Ayodhya to attend the Deepotsav to be held in Ayodhya on the eve of Diwali on Sunday.
Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath and Governor Anandiben Patel welcomed him.
On reaching Ayodhya, PM Modi first saw ‘Ram Lalla Virajman’. He will also inspect the Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra.

On the occasion of Diwali, a grand ‘Deepotsav’ program has been organized at Ram Katha Park in Ayodhya. Every square of Ayodhya is decorated with rangoli of flowers. On this occasion, there is a plan to light more than 17 lakh lamps on the banks of river Saryu.
Many student volunteers have been preparing for the program for the last three days. Every square of Ayodhya is decorated with rangoli of flowers.

Ramlila is being organized in Ram Katha Park. There is also a program for the performance of folk artists. Tight security arrangements have been made in the city.
Champat Rai, general secretary of Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra, says that this is a new chapter for Ayodhya. PM Modi has decided to be present here to see the progress of Ram temple construction. He will first visit Ramlila and then visit the temple construction site.
