LUCKNOW: Lucknow police on Sunday arrested Samajwadi Party (SP) leader Manish Jagan Agarwal after he was booked in multiple cases. Manish Agarwal who accused of making indecent remarks through on Twitter. The police have registered a case at Hazratganj police station in Lucknow. Police has registered 3 cases against the SP worker. Please tell that Manish Jagan Agarwal is the head of the IT cell of the Samajwadi Party.

After the arrest of Manish Jagan Aggarwal, now the Samajwadi Party has flared up. The SP wrote on its official Twitter handle, ‘The arrest of Samajwadi Party worker Manish Jagan Agarwal by the Lucknow Police is condemnable and shameful. The police should release the SP worker immediately.

Samajwadi Party chief Akhilesh Yadav reached the UP police headquarters in Lucknow on Sunday morning and protested against the arrest of Manish Jagan Agarwal, a member of his party’s media cell.

He went to meet the top police officers and started waiting in the canteen there.

When the officials present there offered tea, Akhilesh Yadav rejected it and said, “Bring tea from outside. We won’t drink tea here. We can’t drink it, will you poison us then? We don’t have faith. We will come from outside.” Will order tea, you drink yours, we will drink ours.”

Who is Manish Jagan Agarwal?

Manish Jagan Agarwal is a worker of Samajwadi Party and works in the media cell of the party.

Uttar Pradesh Police has also informed through a tweet that two cases have been registered against Manish Jagan Agarwal in Lucknow’s Hazratganj police station, in which cases have been registered against him under sections of the IPC apart from the IT Act.

According to the police, a charge sheet has also been filed against him in one case.
