New Zealand had a very poor start in this match. Finn Allen could only score four runs and returned to the pavilion in the first over itself. In response, Pakistan’s batting was very good. Mohammad Rizwan and Babar Azam shared more than 100 runs.
Williamson and Mitchell held the innings together and shared 68 runs off 50 balls for the fourth wicket. The duo brought up their fifty-run stand in just 36 balls but failed to force the pace towards the end as boundaries and sixes were hard to come by.
The fans of Pakistan are very happy after this victory.
This match between Pakistan and New Zealand was played at Sydney Cricket Ground.
