Patna– In a shocking incident that sent ripples of panic throughout the area, drug dealer Gorakh Kumar was shot dead by unknown miscreants on Wednesday near Sarai Panchmuhani under the jurisdiction of Maner police station in the capital city of Patna. The tragic incident unfolded when armed assailants riding a motorcycle fired at Gorakh Kumar, who was opening his shop as part of his daily routine. The miscreants quickly fled the scene, leaving behind an atmosphere of fear and chaos.
The victim, identified as Gorakh Kumar, hailed from Jamunipur under Neura police station. He was not only known for his involvement in the drug trade but also reportedly dabbled in the business of land. The incident has left his family members in a state of shock and grief, with their emotional distress palpable.

The law enforcement officers discovered two shell casings at the site, indicating the use of firearms during the crime. A team from the Maner in-charge police station, led by Mumtaz Ansari, also joined the investigation. The body of the deceased was seized and sent for post-mortem examination to the sub-divisional hospital.
