One notable incentive for those making online payments for their gold bond investments is the discount offered by the Central Government. Online applicants who opt for digital payments will receive a Rs 50 per gram discount from the face price, adding an extra benefit for those who choose the convenience of digital transactions.
Investors have multiple avenues to purchase Sovereign Gold Bonds, including Scheduled Commercial Banks (excluding Small Finance Banks, Payment Banks, and Regional Rural Banks), Stock Holding Corporation of India Limited (SHCIL), designated post offices, and major stock exchanges such as the National Stock Exchange India Limited (NSE) and Bombay Stock Exchange Limited (BSE).
