NEW DELHI: On Friday, chaos erupted at the Saket Court complex in Delhi after four rounds of firing took place, leaving a woman from New Friends Colony injured. The incident occurred just as the court opened, causing people to panic and flee for their lives. Hearing the gunshots, Delhi Police personnel rushed to the scene to control the situation.
According to the news agency ANI report, “A woman has been injured in the firing incident at Saket Court. Four rounds of firing took place. Police is present on the spot”.
In the video released by the police, the injured woman is seen screaming and coming out of the court premises.
According to police sources, the injured woman had come to the court to give her statement as a witness in a case. While she was giving her statement, she was shot and immediately rushed to the hospital for treatment. Her current condition remains unknown.
