ICC T20I Ranking: Suryakumar Yadav has proven himself to be a valuable asset to the Indian cricket team with his explosive batting skills. He has managed to maintain his number-1 position in the latest T20 rankings released by the International Cricket Council (ICC), with a total of 890 rating points. Yadav’s performance in the T20 World Cup played in Australia was particularly impressive, where he scored 239 runs and was dismissed only once.
His recent performances in the T20 series against New Zealand have also been noteworthy. He scored a total of 124 runs in the series, with his highlight being a stunning innings of 111 runs in the second T20 played at Mount Maunganui. However, he was dismissed for only 13 runs in the third and final match, resulting in a loss of 5 rating points.
Mohammad Rizwan, the opener of the Pakistan cricket team, is in second place with 836 rating points, followed by Devon Conway of New Zealand with 788 rating points. Pakistan captain Babar Azam and South African batsman Aiden Markram occupy the fourth and fifth positions, respectively.
The top 10 list of T20 batsmen includes David Malan of England, Glenn Phillips of New Zealand, Riley Rosso of South Africa, Aaron Finch of Australia, and Pathum Nissanka of Sri Lanka. However, Suryakumar Yadav remains the most explosive batsman in T20 cricket at present, and his consistent performance has earned him the top spot in the ICC rankings.
