PATNA: A boat capsized in the Ganga River near Maner, in the capital. Seven people among 14 went missing after the accident.
According to report, these people were bringing firewood, grass, straw and other things from Sherpur, that’s why this accident happened.

The boat came to the shore and collided with the bank of the river and overturned. Due to this the people in the boat drowned in the river. Out of these 7 people swam out.
The rest of the people are safe. Rescue operations by the NDRF are currently underway.
At present, the teams of NDRF and SDRF are engaged in search of the missing people. This incident happened around 1:30 to 2 pm.
