Bihar Cabinet approves around 8k vacancy in Health Department, along with set up OBC + 2 girls’ high school in 12 districts

A total of 16 proposals were approved in the Bihar cabinet meeting.

Over 62 crore will be spent in the municipal and municipal elections: Bihar Cabinet

Patna. The Bihar Cabinet led by Chief Minister Nitish Kumar and Deputy Chief Minister Tejashwi Yadav on Tuesday gave approval to fill 8,000 vacancies in various departments. A total of 16 proposals have been approved in the cabinet meeting chaired by CM. Large scale posts have been created in the health department. There will be restoration on 7987 posts in the Health Department.

Along with, the Cabinet has also approved to setup residential 10+ 2 girls’ high schools for other backward classes (OBC) in each 12 districts of the state.

Over Rs 556 crore rupees will be spent in the construction of girl’s residential building for backward and backward welfare, according to the meeting.

The VAT rate on fuel at Gaya airport has been reduced from 29% to 4%. However, this will increase the number of flights. In the financial year 2022 23, the Bihar Institute of Public Administration and Rural Development, Bipard has been sanctioned Rs 15 crore for the newly constructed training institute at Gaya.

A total of 62 crore 18 lakh will be spent in the municipal and municipal elections. Funds have been approved for this while the Disaster Management Department will have its own cadre.

Cabinet approved about 210 Dresser posts in Sadar Hospitals

In view of the need for creation of additional posts of Dresser in 35 Sadar Hospitals of Bihar, a total of 210 posts have been approved. This will help in providing better medical facilities at the local level to the general public of the state. The creation of these 210 dresser posts will cost the state government an additional expenditure of Rs 7 crore 35 lakh 30160 every year.

New Medical College will open in Samastipur:

However, approval has been given to establish Ram Janki Medical College Hospital in Samastipur. There will be 100 MBBS seats in this medical college. For this, approval has been given to create 135 non-academic posts and 288 for Medical College Hospital i.e. a total of 423 posts. Approval has been given for creation of Department of Critical Care Medicine and Blood Transfusion in hospitals and creation of academic and non-academic posts.

Cabinet also has been approved to create 2673 new posts in 17 government medical colleges and hospitals. A total of Rs 137 crore 78 lakh will be spent on this. 423 posts for Chhapra Medical College: Government Medical College and Hospital Chapra for recognition of enrollment of 100 MBBS students including academic and non-academic posts as per the standard of National Medical Commission. Approval has been given to create 135 posts for (medical college) and 288 posts for hospital i.e. a total of 423 new posts.
