Purnia (Bihar): BJP’s “Jan Bhavna Mahasabha” rally has started at Rangbhoomi Maidan in central Purnia. Union Home Minister Amit Shah will reach in a while. Sushil Modi, Giriraj Singh, Ravi Shankar Prasad, Radha Mohan Singh, Renu Devi, Vijay Sinha and other BJP leaders are present on the stage.

Union Home Minister Amit Shah is on a two-day visit to Seemanchal region of Bihar from Friday to prepare the party to become a formidable force ahead of the 2024 Lok Sabha elections to counter the Mahagathbandhan government in the state.

After addressing the rally in Purnia, he will take a meeting of BJP core committee in Kishanganj in the evening, in which the leaders of Seemanchal will be present. For the first time after the change of power in Bihar, a big event will held by BJP in Bihar. Amit Shah will conch shell for the Lok Sabha elections 2024 from the land of Seemanchal.

In the rally of Union Home Minister Amit Shah to be held in Purnia today, there is talk of changing sides of some leaders of Seemanchal. There are speculations that some leaders of the Grand Alliance may join the BJP in the presence of Shah. However, no one’s name has been revealed yet.

Tight security arrangements from Purnia to Kishanganj due to Amit Shah’s visit

Tight security arrangements have been made for Home Minister Amit Shah’s visit to Seemanchal. Heavy security has been deployed from Purnia to Kishanganj, wherever Shah will pass. Special vigil is being taken in the police station areas adjacent to the Nepal border. SSB teams are keeping an eye on the suspects. Vehicles coming and going on the border are also being checked.

RJD raised questioned over BJP about planning a ‘Jan Bhavna Mahasbha”

The Rashtriya Janata Dal and Janata Dal (United) already started questioning BJP for planning a `Jan Bhavna Mahasabha in the Seemanchal region.

Whether it is RJD chief Lalu Prasad Yadav or Bihar Deputy Chief Minister Tejashwi Yadav, all are alleging that the BJP has chosen the Seemanchal area so that Amit Shah can do religious polarization.

Addressing media persona in Patna, Tejashwi Yadav said, “If Amit Shah is coming, then I want to ask…. whether the centre will give special status to Bihar or not? What is the motive for his visit? He will speak against Muslims and incite Hindus. When he comes he will say there is Jungle Raj.”
