Mumbai: Insurance company LIC (LIC) has started WhatsApp service for its customers. With the introduction of the new service of LIC, now the insured will not have to visit the nearest LIC office for every small work, nor will they have to wait for the LIC agent. Now policy holders will be able to get information related to insurance on WhatsApp installed in their mobile.
LIC’s services will be available on WhatsApp for all customers
With LIC’s WhatsApp service, the insured can get premium due, bonus information, policy status, loan eligibility quotation, loan repair quotation, loan interest due, premium paid certificate, ULIP- statement of units, LIC service links, opt in service and opt out service and Will be able to know the end conversation. For this, the insured will have to send ‘Hi’ to the mobile number issued by LIC- 8976862090. After that all these services will be available in return from the insurance company.
On Friday, LIC has informed about the launch of WhatsApp service on Twitter. Life Insurance of India Chairman M.R. Kumar launched the WhatsApp service on Thursday. Due to the new facility of LIC, policy holders will be able to get all the information related to insurance through WhatsApp.
People can buy LIC insurance policy online or offline
Recently LIC has relaunched its two new plans. The insurance company relaunched New Jeevan Amar (LIC’s New Jeevan Amar), New Tech-Term (LIC’s New Tech-Term) plan. LIC told that both the term insurance policy plans issued 3 years ago have been relaunched again. The company said that interested customers can buy both these policies online or offline.
