PM Modi to visit Bihar & Jharkhand on Tuesday, to inaugurate Deoghar Airport

New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi will unveil development projects worth around Rs 16,800 crore in Jharkhand’s Deoghar on Tuesday, which he will inauguration of an airport in the famous district for Baba Baidyanath Dham Temple.

PM Modi official twitted. “There will also be an opportunity to inaugurate the airport here on July 12. This will make the journey of Baba Dham easier for the devotees, as well as boost tourism in Jharkhand.”

According to report, PM Modi had laid the foundation stone of Deoghar airport in Jharkhand on 25 May 2018. This will be the second international airport of Jharkhand after Ranchi.

Several road, rail and basic project will also be inaugurated in the program to be held in Deoghar today.

After the inauguration in Deoghar, he will visit neighbouring state Bihar in the evening around 6 pm. PM Modi latest scheduled to address the closing ceremony of the centenary celebrations of the state legislative assembly in capital Patna. Along with, the foundation stone of the Vidhan Sabha Museum will also be laid.

Vijay Mallya sentenced to four months’ jail by Supreme Court, imposes Rs 2000 fine

New Delhi: Indian businessman Vijay Mallya has been sentenced to four months for a 2017 contempt of the Supreme Court case and fined Rs 2000 on him.

He was convicted of contempt in 2017 over transfer

ring $ 40 million to his children in violation of court orders. The fines I to be deposited within four weeks to the Supreme Court legal services authority, failing which a further sentence of two months will be added, the court said.

While pronouncing the verdict, the Supreme Court said, “Appropriate punishment must be given.”
