NEW DELHI: During the treatment of cricketer Rishabh Pant, CCTV footage of this accident is going viral on TV channels and social media, in which Rishabh Pant’s car is allegedly seen overturning.
Pant has sustained injuries the extent of which is yet to ascertained after his car crashed into a divider and caught fire. Reports suggest that Pant was driving the car.
The video of Rishabh Pant’s car getting caught on fire was recorded by a Twitter user around 5:21 am in the morning near the accident spot. But at that time, Pant was already shifted to the hospital.

After the accident, Rishabh Pant was first taken to the Civil Hospital in Roorkee where he was given first aid.
After this he was shifted to Max Hospital in Dehradun where his treatment is going on at present.
Dr. Ashish Yagnik, Medical Superintendent of this hospital has told, “Rishabh Pant has come here just a while back. A team of doctors is inspecting him. We will be able to say something in detail about this only after some investigations. At present, his condition remains stable.

Dr. Yagnik has also told that “right now he is being treated by a plastic surgeon and an orthopedic specialist. Our investigation process is on. Something can be said about the internal injury only after the completion of the investigation.
Meanwhile, Chief Minister of Uttarakhand Pushkar Dhami while talking to a private channel has said that he will be airlifted if needed.
